Advocacy Press sounds like a publishing house that has been around for forty years. That’s a good problem for a new imprint to have.
The name fits a mission-driven publisher, a nonprofit’s publishing arm, a campaigning newsroom, or a communications agency serving advocacy organisations. That last one is a real and growing business: nonprofits and campaign groups need press operations, and most of them buy that capability rather than build it.
Press carries both meanings usefully here. It’s the printing and publishing sense, which suits books and reports, and it’s the journalism sense, which suits a newsroom or a media relations outfit. Advocacy narrows it to the sector without limiting the format.
Two words, both common, no hyphen, no spelling variant, and the combination reads as an institution rather than a startup. For an organisation whose credibility is the product, that’s worth more than a clever coined name.
