App coding is how people outside the industry describe building software, and how a great many people inside it describe learning to. That gap between professional vocabulary and everyday vocabulary is where the search traffic lives.
The clearest use is education. Coding bootcamps, course platforms, tutorial libraries, and kids’ programming products all compete for people who are searching in plain language rather than in framework names. Someone who doesn’t yet know what React is will type “app coding”. Owning that phrase puts you in front of them at the exact moment they’re deciding where to learn.
It also serves an agency or a development shop selling to non-technical clients, where the plain phrasing is a feature. A founder commissioning their first product wants to hire someone who talks the way they do.
