B4N has been shorthand for “bye for now” since the earliest days of text messaging and chat. It’s in the abbreviation dictionaries, it predates the smartphone, and a substantial number of people read it without a moment’s pause.
That’s genuinely rare in a three-character domain. Most short strings carry no meaning at all, which makes them blank but also inert. This one arrives with a warm, conversational sense already attached, which suits messaging, social, travel, or anything with a farewell in its user flow. A goodbye is a surprisingly common moment in product design.
It also reads cleanly as initials in the X4Y form: business for nonprofits, broadcast for news, build for nothing in particular if you’d rather define it yourself.
Three characters, on the .net, with a pre-existing meaning that costs the buyer nothing to inherit.
