G4D is an established initialism in at least one place: Golf for the Disabled, which has a growing competitive circuit and governing body attention. It also reads naturally as gaming for disability, growth for developers, or grants for development.
The accessibility reading is worth taking seriously as a commercial proposition. Accessible design and adaptive technology have moved from compliance obligation to genuine product category, with dedicated teams at every large platform and a supplier ecosystem around them. A name that reads as “for disability” in three characters is a tidy asset in that space.
The developer reading is the broadest. Anything sold to engineers, where the audience reads shorthand fluently and the .net extension is entirely native.
The X4Y convention does the heavy lifting. It turns three characters into a sentence fragment that people complete themselves, which is more than most short domains manage.
