Montmorency is a name with three separate lives, and each one has a buyer.
It’s the tart cherry variety that dominates the sour cherry trade, sold as juice, dried fruit, and a sports recovery supplement with a genuine body of research behind it. It’s also one of the great houses of French nobility, with a valley and a town north of Paris carrying the name. And it’s Montmorency Falls outside Quebec City, taller than Niagara and a major tourist site.
Any of those supports a business. A growers association or juice producer, a heritage and history project, a tourism operator, a hotel or estate, a food brand trading on provenance. The .org fits the association, heritage, and growers’ collective readings particularly well.
The word is long but elegant, and it’s the kind of name that reads as established rather than invented. You can’t coin something like this.
