Renewability is the property, not the product. Renewable energy is a category; renewability is the quality of being able to renew, which applies to energy, materials, resources, contracts, and licences alike.
That breadth is useful. It fits a clean energy company, a circular economy platform, a materials certification body, a sustainability consultancy, or a subscription and renewals product, which is a completely different market that happens to share the word.
The energy reading is the strongest. The sector has an enormous naming problem, because everything descriptive was taken a decade ago and what’s left is either coined nonsense or three words with a hyphen. A real English noun that captures the core idea is a genuine find.
Twelve letters, five syllables, entirely phonetic, no hyphen. The .net reads well for a platform, a certification network, or a data service, which covers most of the likely buyers.
Offers welcome.
