Prespresso is a coined word with a joke inside it. Pre-espresso: the state you’re in before coffee, or the thing that comes before it. It’s also almost a spoonerism of espresso, which makes it stick in the head.
Names with a bit of humour in them are undervalued in food and drink, where most branding is either earnest craft language or generic Italian. Something that makes a person smile in the queue is worth more than another word meaning “artisan”.
It fits a coffee brand, a cafe, a roastery, a breakfast product, a morning newsletter, or an app aimed at people before they’ve had their first cup. The pre- framing also suits anything preparatory: pre-orders, prep, planning.
Ten characters, four syllables, entirely phonetic, .com, no hyphen. Coined words with a recognisable root are the sweet spot for trademark: ownable, but nobody has to be taught how to say it.
